Blockthrough certified as a Great Place to Work® for the 2nd year in a row

Blockthrough is proud to be certified a Great Place to Work® for the second year in a row. Blockthrough received this honor after a thorough and independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute® Canada.

This was accomplished by meeting the Trust Index© score, which is based on the Great Place to Work® Trust Model©. It defines a great workplace as one where “employees trust the people they work for, have pride in the work they do, and enjoy the people with whom they work”. The model measures the levels of trust in the workplace by focusing on 5 key dimensions: Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride, and Camaraderie.

The following chart showcases Blockthrough’s survey results across all dimensions of the Trust Index© Model©.

Additionally, Blockthrough was named on the 2022 list of Best Workplaces for Start-Ups, as well as the 2022 list of Best Workplaces for Today’s Youth.

These certifications are based on direct feedback from employees of the hundreds of organizations that were surveyed anonymously by their respective workplaces.

“We are thrilled to receive the Great Place to Work® certification once again,” said Marty Kratky-Katz, co-founder and CEO of Blockthrough. “One of our core values is to always put the team first, as we believe that a strong and cohesive team is larger than the sum of its parts. We’ve witnessed immense growth in the last few years, which has only been possible thanks to our passionate, diverse team and our singular focus on building a better Web together.”

Through our inclusive hiring practices, close-knit culture, transparent leadership, competitive compensation, comprehensive framework for continuous growth and self-improvement, as well as a focus on promoting optimal work-life balance, Blockthrough strives to create a workplace that people feel proud to call their own.

Nancy Fonseca, Senior Vice President of Great Place to Work® Canada, says that a great workplace is about the level of trust that employees experience in their leaders, the level of pride they have in their jobs, and the extent to which they enjoy their colleagues. “Our data shows that great workplaces benefit from stronger financial performance, reduced turnover, and better customer satisfaction than their peers. What’s more, work environments with trust at the foundation are ripe for innovation, agility, resilience, and efficiency,” Fonseca said.

By empowering publishers to engage positively with their users, Blockthrough not only supports a free and open Web but has also become a destination for the best and brightest minds.

Did you know that the average publisher loses 10-40% of their revenue to ad blocking? What you may not know is that ad blocking has largely shifted to ad-filtering, with over 300M users allowing a safer, less interruptive ad experience to be served to them—in turn supporting their favorite sites and creators.

Blockthrough's award-winning technology plugs into publishers' header bidding wrapper and ad server to scan ad creatives for compliance with the Acceptable Ads Standard to activate this "hidden" audience and generate incremental revenue, while respecting the choice and experience of ad-filtering users.
