This is the standard flow of the detection script:
- The user requests a webpage.
- Blockthrough’s detection script queries an asset typically associated with network calls.
- If the call is blocked, an ad blocker is is deemed to be present in the session. If not, the script shuts off.
- If an ad blocker is present, the detection script queries an Acceptable Ads URL.
- Depending on the response, an Acceptable Ads consent status is assigned to the user.
